GETTING TO KNOW ME MORE (TAG)

HELLO, TODAY IS JUST A LITTLE 'GTKM' WRITE UP. I LOVE READING ABOUT NEW BLOGGERS AND THOUGHT I'D SHARE AN UPDATED VERSION OF MINE. THROWING THE STYLE STUFF ASIDE TO ENLIGHTEN(ISH) YOU WITH A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT MOI. OOOH HI TO NEW READERS AND HI TO ME REGULAR LOVELIES. OH YOU MAY NEED A HOT BREW FOR THIS ONE....ENJOY X

1 | WHAT IS YOUR MIDDLE NAME?
Anne Georgina

2 | WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE COLOUR?
My favourite colour is constantly changing....Orange (the burnt rusty shade) instantly came to mind so I'm going with that. (Orange or Navy I can't decide ahhhhh the pressure! Not sure if I like being questioned already)

3 | WHO WAS YOUR FIRST BEST FRIEND?
My first ever best friend was Natalie Parrot and she still is my best friend. We met in nursery at around 3 years old.

4 | HOW TALL ARE YOU?

5'6. I pretend I'm 5'7! But I'm not, I've just always wanted to be a lot taller, like 5'10.

5 | CATS OR DOG?
Dogs for sure but I don't mind a cat, like one cat. Too many cats at one time freak me out.
6 | FUNNIEST MOMENT THROUGHOUT SCHOOL?
There are so many silly moments to pick from from my time at school. Me and Nat used to be pretty bonkers but one that really stands out is when we were in an I.T lesson at secondary school (we went to the same nursery, primary and secondary schools) and we were both eating our sandwiches in class and talking. I mean everyone was talking and eating, but me and Nat were sent out by a teacher who was covering the lesson from the art department. She was trying to tell me off but I had chewing gum stuck to my fingers for some reason, and all I remember is her telling me to put the chewing gum in the bin but it was sticking all over my hands. Natalie just stood there crying with laughter and I eventually got sent to my head of year. We were such trouble together but not in a bad way, we just used to laugh at all the silliest of random things. Actually we still do that now......This story probably isn't even funny to an outsider but it still makes me cry laugh.

7 | HOW MANY COUNTRIES HAVE I VISITED?
I actually don't think I've visited a lot as there is still a huge list of amazing countries to venture to. Cambodia, Vietnam, Caribbean and India are all on the to-do. I think probably eight or nine.

8 | HAVE YOU BEEN TO COLLEGE?
Yes many moons ago in Havering, Essex to study A-level Drama and Btec ND in Performing Arts. I then went on to attend drama school in London and never left the big smoke........

9 | WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE/WORST SUBJECT IN HIGH SCHOOL?
English, Geography, Art and Drama were my favs. Worst hmmmm History (But I think the teacher was bored so made the classes uninspiring) and Science. Although science is so interesting to me now.

10 | WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE DRINK?
Alcoholic - G&Tonic 100%! I am a Gin freak!
11 | WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE ANIMAL?
Hmmmmmm I adore horses. They are such beautiful magical animals. Swans are so charismatic too. I'm always dog broody so I have to also say a dog. Not sure on a breed, just anything playful.

12 | WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE PERFUME?
Chanel - Chance is still my ultimate go to fragrance.

13 | TEA OR COFFEE?
None......Green tea! But if I'm hanging black coffee.

14 | WHAT WOULD YOU (OR HAVE YOU) NAME YOUR CHILDREN?
Ooooooh THERE IS NO WAY I CAN GIVE YOU MY BABY NAMES.....WHAT ARE THESE QUESTIONS! CRAZY! LIKE NEVER EVER! Hahahaha. Now my baby names do change all the time but they will probably be something a bit alternative and different. But then again I am quite fond of an old fashioned/classic names too. The name for me is so important and I think you'll never really know until you see your baby for the first time, Ahhhhhhh.........

15 | WHAT SPORTS DO YOU PLAY/HAVE YOU PLAYED?
I loved sport at school. I was part of the athletics team and went on to run in the National Districts for the borough in 200 metres, relay and long jump. I was also in the netball, basketball and hockey teams. (Okay calming down) I don't actually play any sports now, although this question is making me want to start a new sport...hmmm.

16 | WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE BOOK?
I'm currently reading 'Bird Song' by Sebastian Faulks. It is such a beauty of a visionary book that I literally can't put it down at the moment. Every picture is clearly written for you and I can't wait to read more. I recently saw the thriller 'The Girl on the Train' at the cinema and now intrigued to read the whole book, so hopefully that will be next.

17 | WHO ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVOURITE YOU TUBERS?
Eeeek! I have to admit that I'm not good at keeping up with you tubers (Pls don't hate me). If I am on youtube I love watching any style related videos, but there isn't many that I can really relate to style wise. My style is a bit picky I guess (Please feel free to recommend me any of your favourites that I might also like). I appreciate the platform though and applaud the courage they have to show all (Oooops I'm off on a tangine). Ooooh I love watching SARAH AKWISOMBE videos. Her style is super fabulous and more vintage/funk like my own. I just like how natural and down to earth she is, her vids are more interior design based but I just style stalk her. I also love that she doesn't give a grud what people think.  (I used to actually work with her husband a very very long time ago in my retail days and thought they were both lovely then!) Check her out! And ask her to make a few more style videos! (Look at me barking orders) Funny thing is people have suggested that I'd be good on youtube because of my acting experience but I actually think it's the opposite as I wouldn't know what to do or say without a crew or script and it's actually not acting. I'd probably sound like a twat but who knows maybe one day.....Actually I did do a STYLE video for YouTube page FLORA MARIA STYLE - HERE after I put the vid on my insta page. I don't talk in it...I actually enjoyed it....hmmm.....Should I do more style vids for youtube??? I do have to be honest, as producing and editing the vids take a bundle of time and frustration.  I would really want them to look fab so I probably couldn't commit and fit the job in time wise at the moment but not ruling the entire idea out. I love the mix of the visual story/narrative from an artistic point of view combined with fashion, so I'd probably go down that route...(rambling)....Next QUESTION.
18 | WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE MOVIE?
'Mrs Doubtfire' is top of the list, actually all of Robin Williams films. I loved that man and still do, grew up with a lot of his great work. Incredible classics like 'Taxi driver', 'One Few Over the Cocko's Nest' and 'Scarface'. Actually my film of the moment has to be 'I Daniel Blake' and 'Selma' practically broke me. '12 Years of Slave' I can't articulate how that left me (I actually want to un-watch one particular scene). Oh my goodness 'Magnificent 7' with my favourite actor ever Denzel Washington. See I just can't pick....Okay 'Bird Man', 'Sicario' is mind blowing.....okay.....I CAN'T DECIDE SORRRRRRY.....

19 | ARE YOU SINGLE OR TAKEN?
Taken. (WE SHOULDN'T BE DEFINED BY THIS BTW)

20 | WHAT'S YOUR IDEA OF AN IDEAL FIRST DATE?
Cinema date with bundles of sweet popcorn and snacks. Then pizza or thai food with a large glass of G&T. (Cheap date)

21 | HOW MANY BOYFRIENDS/GIRLFRIENDS HAVE YOU HAD?
Ooh 500!....

22 | FAVOURITE MEMORY FROM CHILDHOOD?
It would have to be our christmas holidays. Waking up and running down the stairs to open crimbo presents. We as a family used to open them at 12pm the night before because we couldn't wait sometimes. On Christmas Day we would all get dressed in our best dressed and mum would lay on an enormous spread for us. One of our little traditions was to have scrambled eggs and salmon for breakfast and wait for TOTP to come on. We would play music all day, dance around and celebrate. It was a glorious time that I'll continue to cherish. It wasn't really about the gifts for us.
23 | DO YOU SPEAK ANY DIFFERENT LANGUAGES?
No I unfortunately don't :-(

24 | DO YOU HAVE ANY SIBLINGS?
Yep a sister and brother that are both older. I'm the noisey crazy annoying youngest. Actually they're both crazy hippies toooooooo!

25 | HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR FASHION SENSE?
Hmmm that's a tricky one. I couldn't actually say I was ultra feminine or ultra tom boy or ultra chic or ultra anything. My look and fashion sense changes daily but my overall style has a thick thread of vintage fashion running through it. Okay I would describe my fashion sense as half tom boy, quarter girlie girl and quarter you can't really put your finger on it. I just wear what I feel the most comfortable in.

26 | WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE RESTAURANT?
Because I'm obsessed with Thai food I'm obliged to say YUM YUMS but that's more of an everyday food for me (as I have the restaurant on speed dial (no lie)). My favourite restaurant is Venerdi which is an Italian restaurant in hackney that all of my family go to for our birthday celebrations. The food is stunning if you love pizza and scrumptious pasta's like moi. Staff are really friendly and it has such a relaxing home feel about it. Great for the family and they have a delightful stunning rustic interior to look at, including a random giant vintage car stuck to the wall.

27 | WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVOURITE TV SHOWS?
Recently netflix 'Stranger Things' and a documentary series called 'Last Chance U'. We also started to watch Netflix 'The Get Down'. I love love love Steve Coogan, Alan Partridge. The character is such a twat but I find him so frigging funny, like belly laugh like a crazy whale funny. I was kindly gifted his radio show 'MID MORNING MATTERS' that I just have on constantly in the background. If you like dry humour then you'll love it!
28 | PC OR MACS?
Hmmmm I'll let you decide.

29 | WHAT PHONE DO YOU HAVE? (iOS V ANDROID)
I have an Android but I want to throw it in the bin, hahahaha. It decides when it wants to like me and work....

30 | TELL US ONE OF YOUR BAD HABITS?
If I'm highly intoxicated with the liquor and return home from a night out. I maybe on occasions not take any of my makeup off till the next day. I usually arise with the same grotty makeup on from the previous evening. YES, I am that person that pulls eyelashes off her own face or pillow on the morning after. It's disgusting and rather rank. I actually don't know why I don't easily invest in some kind of drugstore wipe to solve my problem! In my defence I do apply fresh makeup on every time I go out out beforehand. So the makeup isn't actually on my face for that long. And I actually don't drink a lot as I'm a light weight now and can't waste two days hanging.....Why am I admitting this stuff!

On that note many thanks for reading my fairly evasive spiel of my life. I hope you don't think I'm too weird and enjoyed the majority of the read. As always many thanks for your lovely time and they'll be another post up next Monday. Have a grand weekend XX
